This new television series, FORCE III, is about three men whose courage has, more than once, brought them to the edge. They survived Viet Nam together. They believed their services were no longer needed. They were wrong.   Today, ELLIOT HAVERSFORD, JOE WILLIS and DUC LON TAN are part of a special government team. Their mission...to work on highly-classified and dangerous assignments. They've never met their boss. They never will. They receive their assignments through their liaison officer, BARBARA WALES. In order to survive each assignment, FORCE III utilizes the most highly advanced vehicles ever to hit the street. Each agent works in partnership with his own specially engineered high-performance automobile. And once they drop the clutch...it's time to hang on as FORCE III mobilizes into action!   ELLIOT HAVERSFORD -- code name "Wizard" -- leads the life of a successful stock broker, but when called into action, his awesome charcoal-blue Trans Am appears upon command. Aerodynamic in design, sleek wing-panel doors fly open to expose an interior complete with a hi-tech console, computer- driven from a powerful electronic panel housed in the trunk. At the touch of a button, lazers and machine guns project from each headlight. Objects are lifted and moved by a swinging rotary arm that comes out of the roof, while rockets fire from beneath the panel doors. A silent radio-controlled drone launches from the hood, scanning the atmosphere at low altitudes and transmitting pictures of what lies ahead back to a TV monitor inside the car. This unique machine can even levitate off the ground by a mere touch of the "cushion" control, or blind approaching vehicles with multiple high-glow lights.   A cowboy who has inherited the code name "Ragtime," JOE WILLIS lives on a beautiful sprawling ranch. His faithful steed of steel is a fully-equipped, devil-red, off-road AMC Jeep with hydraulic bumpers for ramming and a hood scoop that rotates to fire rockets. This XJ-7 Jeep is fully combat- mobile, especially when Ragtime commands use of machine guns mounted underneath the ram bumper. The Jeep can surprise its prey with a right side anti-aircraft gun, which rotates on a Gilmore belt for multiple rocket launching. Simply put, Ragtime's powerful mount gives him all the gear he needs to complete his tasks, right down to a hidden lariat for lassoing suspects...a true cowboy.   DUC LON TAN, alias "Chatter," is quiet and calculating, contrary to his code name. A Black Belt Karate instructor, Chatter drives the deadly Ninja car. Black pearl in color, this ultra-sleek Corvette is equipped to face any danger. A twist of the key turns loose the throaty raw power of a street machine unrivaled by any other. Headlight beams spit tri-blades, while a large "Chinese star" launcher lurks on top of the hood. Two razor-sharp Ninja swords lie ready for action in their mounted position on the front grill. The swords are removable, and Chatter knows how to use them --just as he knows how to use the Ninja stick mounted just under the driver's door. The rear window slides back to reveal a cross bow that tracks up to the top of the car, cocked and ready to shoot on the driver's command. Lethal slicing blades automatically flip out of each wheel's hub cap.   Together, the FORCE III team is as innovative as the vehicles they drive. FORCE III is going to make fast tracks across the country, taking television viewers along on an exhilarating adventure.
